What started in 2018 at the EGCC Summit in Prague as a response to the call, “Who would like to start a Giving Collaboration in their country?” led to the creation of a wonderful community that has just celebrated seven years!

We managed to dig out a photo capturing the very moment when the brainstorming began. Emanuel and Bianca Bistrian, thank you for responding to that call back in Prague — and for continuing to lead this community today!

This year around 40 people gathered in the room, generously supporting 11 Great Commission projects!

What we also love about Romania is its well-functioning ecosystem. Big appreciation to Guild, a movement bringing together Romanian Christian professionals and entrepreneurs that feeds the Giving Collaboration. Very encouraging model.

Throughout Scripture, the number seven is often associated with completeness, fullness, or a completed work. But I dare to say: I don’t think you are done yet! We all know that the harvest is plentiful, so I pray for even more generosity, more collaboration, more strategic thinking — and, as a result, much more fruit in Romania in the years ahead!
